Event: Pass It On at Outside Project, 18 Feb 2023

Sun 18 Feb, 6pm. The Outside Project, London SE1. Free

Join LGBTIQ+ archive champions So Mayer and Stef Dickers for a hands-on event that will
combine a conversation about queer(ing) archives creatively, practically and imaginatively.
Because history belongs to all of us, with a collective show-and-tell of your memory-objects.
Think badges, flyers, lipsticks, tickets, laces, pill packets, pants. Good vibes! Together, we’ll make
an LGBTIQ+ archive in the room.

“In a movement and community where still too few activists and artists survive to be elders, the real queer and trans coming of age is not coming out, but coming to recovery work: first as a viewer or reader finding themselves, then as a participant in the archives. We enfold queer texts and traces into our memories so we can pass them on.” – So Mayer, A Nazi Word for a Nazi Thing
