A New Feminist Grammar in Film is part of a two-day symposium Feminist Perspectives, organised by FC Gloria and Die Regisseur*nnen, two groups of Austrian feminist film workers redressing gendered exclusion. I’ll be in conversation on day 1 with filmmaker Céline Sciamma (who spoke to Elif Batuman for the New Yorker about her new feminist grammar of film) and cinematographer Christine A. Maier (Quo Vadis, Aida; Itty Bitty Titty Committee). The discussions will be in English.
